We are building a D365 Finance & Operations practice in Europe, focusing on the metals and materials manufacturing industry. As a Lead Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering client implementations and supporting the development of this new service offering.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end D365 F&O implementations for clients across Europe. You will also contribute to building delivery standards, support business development activities, and help expand the practice over time.

Client Delivery & Solution Leadership
Lead the design and implementation of D365 F&O solutions for metals & materials manufacturing clients
Architect end-to-end solutions, incorporating industry-specific ISV solutions
Configure and design solutions across Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehousing, Production, Manufacturing, Planning/MRP, Costing, and Finance integration
Conduct workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into functional design documentation
Develop integration architecture, data management approaches, and security models
Define and oversee testing strategies, support training, and ensure smooth transition to live operations
Identify risks and manage mitigation throughout the project lifecycle
Industry Expertise – Metals & Materials
Apply knowledge of metals and materials manufacturing processes in solution design
Align ERP capabilities with plant operations, supply chain processes, and financial controls
Advise clients on process improvements aligned with D365 F&O functionality and ISV capabilities
Practice Development
Contribute to the growth of the D365 F&O metals & materials practice in Europe
Support the definition of delivery standards, methodologies, and reusable assets
Participate in pre-sales discussions, solution demonstrations, and proposals
Identify additional opportunities within client organizations
Mentor and support future team members as the practice grows
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with functional consultants, developers, technical architects, and project managers
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants
Stay up-to-date with developments in D365 F&O and relevant ISV solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery approaches and client outcomes
Minimum 5+ years of ERP implementation experience, with strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Proven experience leading full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations
Experience in manufacturing, preferably metals & materials or process manufacturing
Experience with industry-specific ISV solutions integrated with D365 F&O is highly valued
Strong functional knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Costing, and Finance integration
Experience working with clients across multiple European countries
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience
Fluency in English required; Dutch a plus
Willingness to travel within Europe for client projects (proximately 3-4days/month).
